Inside the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Tarnów.

"Dating from the 14th century with major additions and rebuilds in the 15th and 19th centuries, the Neo-Gothic Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, just northwest of the Rynek, one of the oldest brick buildings in the city, must rate as one of the most impressive parish churches in Poland. Of note is the 16th-century portal, six 16th-century Renaissance monuments to the Tarnowski family, a number of extraordinary paintings and the impressive, 72-metre tower, a handy point of reference when getting lost in one of Tarnów's many rambling back streets." (Kraków in Your Pocket, June-July 2009).
